Kroll Advisory, the administrators of stricken retailer Claire’s, have confirmed the closure of all 154 standalone stores, with around 1,300 staff being made redundant. The retailer’s European operations and its concession stores, including those in Asda, aren’t affected and continue to trade.
A spokesperon for Kroll said: “All employees have been advised of redundancy. We understand an interested party is in discussion with a number of landlords with a view to taking new leases for some of the sites.”
