Online fashion retailer Lily Ella which was based in the North East has been acquired after falling into administration two months ago. The new owner is Venture Stream which acquired the business and assets of Lily Ella which has recommenced trading. Whilst Lily Ella, established in 2013, had built up a strong customer base, falling demand and escalating costs had driven founder Zoe Glover to call in advisors.
Andy Robinson, chief operating officer at Venture Stream said: “We worked with the previous team at Lily Ella for many years and, alongside thousands of loyal customers, we were sad to see it fall into liquidation. Thankfully with help from Mincoffs (solicitors) and our team of eCommerce experts, we were able to quickly secure a deal to purchase the business and bring the brand back to life.”
