Shop Direct has set aside £169 million to meet PPI claims in respect of the ‘shopping insurance’ it charged customers buying on credit from Littlewoods. This was revealed in its accounts for the year to June 2018 in which the Shop Direct group posted annual sales of £1.4 billion.
