Livingbridge invested in Crew in 2006 and the retailer operates from over 80 stores and also sells online. Crew was founded in 1993 by Alastair Parker-Swift in the back of a windsurfing school in Salcombe, Devon. The brand offers quality smart casual wear, accessories and footwear for men and women, including a range of iconic heritage products, bearing its crossed oars logo. Alastair Parker-Swift will continue to work with Crew under its new ownership. As previously reported, only to be vociferously denied by a spokesperson for Livingbridge, CEO Louise Barnes has left the business making way for the new owner, believed to be Exquisite Clothing, to install its own management team.
