LloydsPharmacy CEO Kevin Birch has stepped down from his role after eight months.

Parent company Hallo Healthcare has pressed on with the closure of all of its 237 outlets in Sainsbury’s supermarkets and has now also agreed a sale of its private travel clinic chain Masta to Nomad Travel.

Other recent sales include 30 branches in Scotland which went to Rowlands Pharmacy with all staff transferring to the new owner.
