L’Oreal Paris UK boosts online sales

dunnhumby has expanded its BzzAgent portfolio with the launch of BzzReviews a new advocacy solution that drives eCommerce sales. L’Oreal Paris UK is one of the first major household names to use the tool which generates reviews based on product trials and informed experiences. Reviews are then seamlessly broadcast by BzzAgent’s syndication partners, including Bazaarvoice, to a breadth of relevant brand pages and retail websites, where the reviews help influence the product purchase.

Nielsen’s 2015 Global Trust in Advertising survey found that 66 per cent of people trust consumer opinions posted online, and dunnhumby has recently found that 84 per cent of shoppers regularly look at reviews to help decide which products to buy.
