Lush generated sales of £40.5 million in December ’22, the highest ever. This was up by 13.1 per cent on December 2021. With shoppers returning to its stores it saw strong demand for its Christmas gifting range.
“We were confident in a return to a more traditional Christmas trading pattern this year, and increased our stock levels and seasonal recruitment to provide the best possible experience for our customers,” said Lush UK&I retail director Kat Hannible. “I’m happy to say that our optimistic preparation paid off, and we’re delighted to report these results.”
Lush is investing in its retail stores in the UK and Europe this year, having earmarked £7.4m for relocations, refits and new stores.
