Multichannel furniture brand Made.com is trialling the use of Cloudtags within its Notting Hill showroom to improve customers’ shopping experience. The technology enables customers to access all the product information for items on display such as colour and dimensions, using a simple hand-held device which also allows them to email the “wish-list” of products they have viewed. This provides valuable data for Made.com as well as helps customers to make important final decisions on furniture purchases, avoiding buying items that are too large to be delivered into their homes or which are not going to be a good fit with their existing décor.
Annabel Kilner, Head of UK, Made.com said “As a brand we are continually looking at innovations that improve our customers’ shopping experience and the feedback from showroom visitors so far has been very positive. The technology is incredibly easy to use and has been quickly adopted by our customers and we look forward to seeing its impact on our omnichannel strategy.”
CloudTags UK MD Ollie Bath says that a number of significant brands are in the throes of signing up to trial the solution .
