Mark Newton-Jones who spend a decade with Shop Direct, and was previously with Next, has accepted the permanent role of Chief Executive at Mothercare where he has held the interim role since the departure of Simon Calver. Newton-Jones joins the board of Mothercare on July 17th and will take responsibility for steering and evolving business’ turnaround strategy.
