Mention Me, a referral marketing platform has announced a partnership with Taggstar, a business which provides social proof messaging for eCommerce. The agreement combines the benefits of social proof messaging and advocacy marketing. Online brands using Mention Me, will be able to display product buying and viewing trends, and reviews, to increase their conversions and sales, as a result of the new partnership.
Taggstar’s software collects and displays aggregated, real-time shopping trends, reviews and stock levels based on eCommerce customers’ online behaviour. Working with Mention Me’s referral marketing platform, the messages will now highlight what a customers’ peers have bought, including popularity, scarcity, promotional messages; encouraging the referrer to refer and the referred friend to purchase. Mention Me has a natural affinity with Taggstar, both platforms focussing on personalisation and the psychology of social capital to boost customer acquisition and retention.
