Michael Dell is to buy back the computer firm that bears his
name for $24.4 billion (£15.6 billion). The company has signed a definitive
merger agreement which will see Michael Dell, its founder, chairman and chief
executive officer acquire the business in partnership with investment firm
Silver Lake.
