Monsoon Accessorize has filed for insolvency in Germany where it operates 30 stores with 190 employees. It has appointed Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH as administrator and which will continue to trade the business whilst processes are put in place. The administration does not include the retailer’s online business in the German market which will continue and be serviced from the UK.
Revenues from its German stores have plummeted over the past 12 months.
