Monsoon has disappointing year

Monsoon which confirmed Paul Allen as its permanent CEO in January from an interim role has also named Gill Moore for the newly created role of chief customer officer as the business continues to address falling sales and a net loss for the year to August 29th, 2015. The overhaul includes the closure of under performing stores and greater focus on Europe and the Middle East. Like many other clothing retailers, Monsoon blamed poor weather conditions, discounting, adverse exchange rates,  and greater competition for its woes.
