Morrisons is to extend its tie up with Amazon into a permanent multi-year partnership in order to see more cities covered by the one-hour grocery deliver services offered via Prime Now. The service currently covers Birmingham, Leeds, part of London, and Manchester. The new areas identified to be offered the service later this year are Glasgow, Liverpool, Newcastle, Portsmouth and Sheffield, with further locations to be added from 2020 onwards.
“We greatly value our partnership with Morrisons and are pleased to announce an extension of our wholesale relationship,” said Amazon UK country manager Doug Guyrr. “This builds on our recent expansion of the Morrisons store on Prime Now, enabling us to offer Morrisons products to more Prime members in even more cities across the UK over the coming years.”
