Outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse, led by its founder & CEO Mark Neale, has acquired the minority shareholding in its business from LDC. The transaction valued at £85 million has been backed by Royal Bank of Scotland and Alcentra, allowing LDC to exit and the Mountain Warehouse team push ahead with expansion plans. International online development is high on the agenda at the business which achieved sales of £75.6 million in the year to February 2013.
