Online meat delivery brand MuscleFood has entered administration less than a year after its previous rescue.
Business lender Bizcap lodged the administration application after the company had been working with Begbies Traynor on a debt restructuring plan and holding discussions with several lenders.
Chief executive Nick Preston acquired the business from GPS Food Group for an undisclosed sum in August 2025. The deal included the write-off of much of MuscleFood’s existing debt.
The impact on employees, suppliers and customers, together with the future of the brand, has not yet been confirmed.
