One can only imagine the horror at Macquarie Capital as it realised its error in the pricing of shares in the debut listing of the Mysale flash sales retailer backed by Sir Philip Green. The shares had supposed to start at £2.26 but were mistakenly listed at 2.26p. Sir Philip retains 22 per cent of the business via the Shelton Capital Fund controlled from Monaco by his wife Tina.
MySale stages up to 60 flash sales a day with discounted offers on a range of products including homewares, fashion and cosmetics and recently acquired Cocosa.
