Williams, Simply Be and Oxendales catalogues, has appointed
Paul Kendrick as group development director. Chief
executive, Alan White told Catalogue/e-business that
Kendrick’s remit will be to “focus on areas outside of the
core business”. Kendrick will begin examining opportunities
internationally, with Germany the first potential target. White
stressed that the business was not moving away from the core
business of home shopping. In other news, White was appointed a
nonexecutive director at tile and wood flooring specialist Topps
Tiles.
