Rowan Gormley has announced his plan to step down from the CEO role at Naked Wines early in the New Year. He will be replaced by chief operating officer Nick Devlin. Gormley founded Naked Wines in 2008 and retained his position when the business merged with Majestic Wine four years ago. With the sale process for Majestic Wine near complete, Naked Wines will return to its roots as a pureplay online retailer and is keen to develop opportunities in the US market.
