Neom has promoted Isabel Malbois to the position of CEO, allowing previous post-holder Oliver Mennell to become non-executive chair of the business he co-founded in 2005 with Nicola Elliott who retains the role of creative director.
Malbois joined Neom in 2021 as its global commercial director and rose to the position of managing director in July 2022. Malbois had previously spent 15 years with L’Oreal, including three years in the USA as brand president for Urban Decay and latterly as general manager of Giorgio Armani UK & Ireland.
Mennell commented: “Taking NEOM with Nicola from just the germ of an idea to a successful, much loved, sustainable business has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It’s been a great pleasure working with Isabel and I’m delighted she is taking on the role of CEO at a very exciting time for the brand. I look forward to supporting her, Nicola and the team as they take Neom to even further heights.”
