Piper backed well-being products specialist NEOM enjoyed a 35 per cent uplift in its revenues for the five weeks to January 2nd and is now looking to develop its growth plans for key overseas markets. The business clocked up £29 million of sales in 2020 with 80 per cent coming from online channels including other retailers’ sites. Its focus on natural ingredients is being increasingly well received by consumers who spent £6.9 million direct with Neom in its stores and online over the aforementioned festive period.
The US market has proved to be highly receptive to Neom’s offering and it also anticipates strong demand from China. CEO Oli Mennell commented: “The US is going phenomenally well and China is next. To go for really big, fast growth, you want to make sure you have the right funding in place.”
