Bensons for Beds, which is now a standalone company, has confirmed the promotion of its chief commercial and digital officer Nick Collard to the role of CEO.

Collard joined the business a year ago and replaces outgoing CEO Mark Jackson who has stepped down after three years.
Ed Preston joins the board and takes the role of chief commercial and digital officer with Gordon Brown replacing CFO John Sidebotham who is exiting the business now that its restructuring is complete. Frankie Haynes, retail director has been appointed to the board as chief customer officer, with Maxine Blackwell continuing as chief people officer, and Mandy Winser remaining as chief operating officer.
