John Walden has been appointed as Chief Executive of Home Retail Group plc from the position of managing director for Argos which he has held since February 2012. Walden commences in his new role on March 14th , following a handover from incumbent Terry Duddy who leaves the 50,000 employee group to pursue other ventures.
