Jo Greenslade has joined Cotton Comfort’s founder Dorothy Clarke to take the helm of the business which Dorothy founded decades ago to provide sleepwear and clothing specifically for eczema sufferers.
Jo GreensladeJo was a Cotton Comfort customer when her then baby daughter developed infected eczema. She found a great source of products which could help with the condition plus advice from Dorothy who had launched the company following a similar experience with her own daughter.
Jo’s daughter Bonnie is now a young adult and has benefited enormously from Cotton Comfort’s designs, soft comfortable clothes and Dorothy’s wise words of advice. “I have never forgotten how instrumental Cotton Comfort was to Bonnie’s and our whole family’s happiness and I always thought that one day I would see if I could get involved and help more people access these wonderful clothes which changed our lives,” said Jo.
“Finally, last summer in the midst of Covid and realising that I still felt passionately about this, I contacted Dorothy to see if I could help. As luck would have it she was looking for someone to work with and eventually handover the business to, who truly understood its customers and its purpose.
I am thrilled with the opportunity to change people’s lives through Cotton Comfort and am committed to reaching as many people as possible with our innovative, trusted and sustainable products”.
As for Dorothy, she remains available to Jo as an advisor over the coming year or so, before retiring in the knowledge that Cotton Comfort is in good hands.
