Support staff at New Look’s London & Weymouth office are being consulted over the need the business has to make around seventy roles redundant.
This comes as the retailer continues to trim costs and adopt a more efficient operating model. It has already taken steps to reduce its stable of stores as it sets its sights on further developing its eCommerce channel.
In a statement the business said: “New Look has changed significantly in recent years, having accelerated our eCommerce business and reduced our store estate. As such, we have reviewed our operating model and structures, and we are making certain changes to our ways of working, to better reflect and support the growth of our omnichannel business.”
