Fashion retailer New Look has announced plans to open 50
stores in China this year to add to the 18 it already operates there. The
easing of government controls for overseas eCommerce businesses trading in
China is expected to attract other retailers like New Look which have multichannel
offerings and these are proving very attractive to young fashion conscious
Chinese women who are keen to adopt Western style.
