Mohamed al-Fayed, the former owner of Harrods,
is in talks to buy secret-sales website Cocosa
from Bauer Media, reports the Independent.
Majestic Wines has toasted a successful year
with total sales up 10.3 percent to £257.3 million and
pretax profit up 26.6 percent to £20.3 million. Online sales
grew 9.6 percent in the year to 28th March, and now represent
10.2 percent of total UK retail sales. Average online orders are
£142.
US-based consumer electronics retailer Best Buy
has put its European strategy on hold while it reviews its
international expansion plans, writes the Financial Times.
