Electronic components distributor
Electrocomponents saw sales in the four months
to 31st January grow 19 percent. In the UK, sales grew 11
percent, whilst international sales performed strongly, rising 23
percent on the same period last year. Online revenue grew
approximately 31 percent during the period and now represents
half of total group sales.

Outdoor equipment retailer Go Outdoors saw
turnover grow 57 percent in the last financial year, from
£75.4 million to £114.9 million. According to the
Yorkshire Post the business is set to open
more stores in the UK in the coming year, creating 500 new jobs.
The company also plans to relaunch its website this year,
following an online sales uplift of 45 percent during the last
fiscal year.

Amazon.co.uk has added lingerie to its apparel
offering. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the online giant now
sells underwear for men and women, including brands such as
Charnos, After Eden and Wonderbra.
