Sweden-based apparel retailer H&M, which
launched its UK online shop in September, will enter the USA with
an ecommerce website by the end of the year. It has also
announced it will carry out improvements in its catalogue and
online operations, including revamped websites for the markets in
which it currently operates.
Apparel retailer Boden is launching its
maternity range next month-called Boden bump.
Boden has said the line will be available online only.
Secret-sales website BrandAlley has appointed
former Fly53 boss Simon Smith as brand
consultant.
Garden centre chain Dobbies is creating 400 jobs
in Scotland. The company, part of Tesco Group, has invested
£20 million in two news “Dobbies Garden Worlds”.
A further £10 million is earmarked for another Garden World
in East Kilbride for which the company has submitted a planning
application.
