Marks & Spencer has been head-hunting again,
appointing Jan Heere to lead its international expansion, reports
the Guardian. He previously worked at rival
apparel group Inditex.
Home shopping retailer 24studio.co.uk, part of
Findel’s Express Gifts division, has unveiled a
mobile-optimised website.
Woolworths.co.uk has added an arts and crafts
department to its website. It has teamed up crafting personality,
Stephanie Weightman, who will create crafts-related
“how-to” video guides, available on the
Woolworths.co.uk website and on YouTube.
More social-media news: Pets at Home has
released an iPhone app allowing pet owners to keep all their
pet’s details-such as scheduled vet visits, or treatment dates-in
one place. Users can also use the app to upload photos to
Facebook and learn about offers and news from the pet-supplies
retailer.
US-based gifts marketer Harry & David has
appointed Kay Hong as chief restructuring officer and interim
chief executive to help turn the business around. She succeeds
Steven Heyer who remains as chairman.
