Mobile-phone accessories etailer Mobile Fun
reported its best Christmas ever with like-for-like orders up 28
percent and sales up 19 percent on the same quarter 2009. Growth
did slow slightly in December due to the weather, but was offset
by a strong performance during October and November.

DIY giant Kingfisher has launched a customer
magazine called Trade Talk. The publication, created by
John Brown, is distributed to customers via Screwfix’s
trade counters
and at TradePoint
counters within B&Q‘s stores. At 84 pages, the
magazine features product reviews, buyers’ guides, and
money-saving tips.

Argos is now accepting PayPal as a payment
method on its website. The move is part of Argos’s plans to
increase business from its mobile site.

Harrods’ annual sales have broken the £1

Normal postal service resumes today, writes the Express. According to the newspaper, the mail
disruption lasted almost two months and “one letter posted
on December 22 took 19 days to arrive at its destination five
miles away”.
