The Carlyle Group completed its acquisition of NBTY, the US-based
manufacturer and marketer of nutritional supplements and owner of
Holland & Barrett and Julian Grave for $4 billion (£2.53
billion).
Luxury-fashion etailer My-Wardrobe.com has appointed former
London Lifestyle editor-in-chief Fiona McIntosh as consultant
creative director. McIntosh’s remit is to drive the development
of the website’s cross-platform editorial content including the
online magazine, seasonal syle guides and “MY-TV
features”, which will form an integral part of the brand’s
relaunch for Spring/Summer 11.
High-street chemist Lloydspharmacy has acquired living-aids
cataloguer/etailer Betterlife Healthcare, reports HealthInvestor.
