    Business payment support service – which allows businesses in
    trouble to delay tax payments – will continue ‘for as long as
    necessary’”.

  • N Brown workers who are members of labour
    union Usdaw voted to reject a pay freeze for 2010; a vote on
    whether to strike could take place next week. An N Brown
    spokesperson, however, told the
    Manchester Evening News
    that if workers were to strike, it
    would not affect Christmas orders, as any work action could not
    legally be implemented until the new year.
