Heating and plumbing supplier Wolseley is
considering a sale of its Bathstore retail
chain, reports the Sunday Express.

According to the Sunday Times and Bloomberg, value retail
chain Peacocks has received two bid approaches.

American retailers are pushing into China using their ecommerce
websites. Mentioned in the Financial Times article is
Walmart‘s decision to take its Sam’s
Club
business into China and Gap‘s
plans to launch online in China next month.

is to extend its ecommerce website to the
UK, reports the Independent. It has been trading online in
the US since 2000.

After trading for just eight weeks, Kent-based knitting supplies
website Deramores has its sights set on
expanding the business to the US. One of the company’s directors,
Steve Hollis, told the Kent Gazette that he was “looking to
make Deramores into a global company”.
