The

wonders whether things can get any better for
booming TV-shopping channel QVC. Interesting
fact: The QVC distribution centre in Liverpool is six times
larger than Wembley Stadium.

Cocosa, the secret-sales website, has appointed
Linda Peters as managing director. Peters previously worked at
LVMH, on the team that developed Sephora.com
into a leading premium beauty retailer. Cocosa, which was
launched two years ago, now has 350,000 members. It plans to
expand into selling menswear and accessories in the coming
months.

Rob Silsbury has joined online retailer Glasses
Direct
as marketing director, he was previously
marketing manager at Boden.

The online activists who succeeded in bringing down the websites
of MasterCard and Visa, have failed to cripple
Amazon, reports the Guardian.
