Leather goods brand Smythson was sold to a
holding company for leather goods manufacturer Tivoli Group for
£18 million, reports the Financial Times.

Hotel Chocolat is in the midst of a three-part
scheme to “transform cocoa into a new and successful West
Indian business”, according to Trinidad and Tobago’s Newsday. Plans include a
“boutique chocolate hotel”.

Furniture cataloguer/retailer Barker and
Stonehouse
is “on track to double the amount of
sales from last year”, reports the Northern Echo.
