Home-entertainment etailer the Hut Group may be
floated on the stock exchange later this year. According to the
Manchester Evening News, the Hut is looking
to hire advisers ahead of a potential listing on the AIM in the
latter half of 2010.

Online marketplace and auction site eBay
outperformed expectations in its fourth quarter posting revenues
of $2.4 billion (£1.47 billion), up 16 percent from the same
period last year. In its core marketplaces business unit, which
includes eBay, Shopping.com,
StubHub, and Kijiji, recorded
$1.5 billion (£920.8 million) in revenue for the quarter, a
15 percent year-over-year increase. For the full year, eBay Inc
posted $8.7 billion (£5.34 billion) in revenue.
