Continuing its global expansion, bicycle and tri-sports retailer
Wiggle has launched websites in Italian and
Portuguese. The launch follows the unveiling of a Dutch site in
July. Customers are already able to shop with Wiggle in English,
French, German, Spanish and Japanese.

Video-games retailer Game has formed a strategic
relationship with US-based on-demand video-gaming service
OnLive. Game becomes OnLive’s “first
global strategic retail partner”, providing the service to
its customers through Game’s store network, the game.co.uk
website and later, the Gamestation site. OnLive is cloud-based
instant-play service that allows gamers to play the latest titles
online, through a PC or mac, rather than a console.

St Ives plc, which announced the acquisition of
data marketing agency Response One last week for
a minimum of £16.25 million, capped at £19 million, has
continued on the acquisition trail with the purchase of market
research agency Pragma. St Ives paid an initial
amount of £3.3 million, which will be followed by a deferred
amount, up to £6 million.
