The exodus of board directors from troubled retailers continues apace with news that Mothercare’s CEO Mark Newton-Jones has left the business after four years at the helm. Newton-Jones has been replaced by David Wood who most recently held the post of group president of Kmart Holdings and has also worked in senior positions with Tesco.
