Next has made moves to tackle one of the ongoing problems in the fit of women’s jeans and trousers by introducing a range of in-between sizes. Initially, on trial in a range of skinny, standard and slim jeans as well as chino trousers, customers can now buy, for example, a size 13 or a 15 and find the best personal fit.
A Next spokesperson said: “After spending time with our customers and listening to their feedback, we have decided to trial in-between sizes in some of our favourite jeans and tailoring pieces to ensure we are offering them the best fit possible.”
Other retailers are expected to follow suit in a bid to reduce returns.
