Next has released its half year results for the period to July. Sales were up by 2.6 per cent to £1.96 billion for the period but profits had fallen by 1.5 per cent. Next Directory had fared rather better than stores following improvements to the business’ website together with an increase in sales of other fashion labels and international demand.
