It is being widely suggested that Next is lining up its next acquisition. A figure of c.£100 million would see Next add the Fat Face brand and business to its portfolio.
According to reports a deal is imminent.
A Next spokesman said that the business would not comment. FatFace, which was founded in 1988 now has around 180 UK stores.
The most recently filed accounts for FatFace accounts to May 2022 showed revenues of £235 million with profit after tax of £5.2 million.
