News has just broken that the joint administrators of The Oasis & Warehouse Group have failed to find a buyer for the fashion retail business as a going concern. All stores and the online channel will now close permanently, resulting in the loss of just over 1800 jobs. Hilco Capital has snapped up certain stock & IP assets but had no interest in taking on the staff or the stores.
