Schwarz Group, the parent company of Lidl, has swooped to acquire Real.de, a significant online marketplace in Germany. Schwarz Group CEO Rolf Schumann is reported as saying that Real.de will be an essential component of his group’s future offering. He added that the combination of bricks and mortar business and online trading will open up additional opportunities and give its customers new advantage.
