Online sports and fitness retailer, Sweatband.com adopts Scurri

UK specialist sports and fitness online retailer Sweatband.com has selected Scurri, the delivery management platform, to power its delivery experience, from dispatch to customer notifications.

Founded in 1999, Sweatband.com provides top-quality sports equipment and gym accessories to enthusiasts of all levels. From treadmills to cross-trainers, dumbbells, multi-gyms, and yoga mats, Sweatband.com partners with the biggest and most trusted brands, including Adidas, Nike, Wilson, NordicTrack, and Gaiam, alongside stocking its own in-house equipment brands, DKN and Viavito, as well as clothing and supplement brand Half Human.

Sweatband.com has adopted Scurri’s Connect delivery management platform allowing it to manage multiple carrier integrations, including two-person delivery for heavy and bulky sports equipment, to power its delivery offering – including free standard and signed for delivery options.

Additionally, as a customer-led business prioritising high levels of service engagement, Sweatband.com has also deployed Scurri’s Track Plus solution, which allows it to control its post-purchase delivery experience for customers – including branded order tracking communications to ensure customers are kept advised of the status of each delivery from order to despatch and final mile.

Rory O’Connor, founder and CEO of Scurri, commented: “In an increasingly competitive and fragmented retail market, good old-fashioned customer experience continues to be the key differentiator in generating satisfaction, loyalty and repeat purchase.  Sweatband.com know that the right product at the right price is only part of the success equation, which depends as much on great service in the delivery and post-purchase phases, and we are delighted to be working with them to deliver these critical elements of the customer journey.”
