PCS Brands in administration

PCS Brands which manufactured, wholesaled and retailed ranges under the Viners, George Wilkinson, Mermaid and RTA brands has entered administration causing the majority of its staff at sites in the North West, Midlands and Norfolk to be made redundant. The business dates back to the early 1900’s and had held an excellent reputation for its ranges. Commentators cite the increased competition from overseas manufacturers, the move toward casual dining, as well as a more budget conscious consumers for the collapse of the business. Paul Flint and William Wright were appointed as Joint Administrators of the Company on 30th October 2014.
