Value fashion retailer Peacocks has gone live with an eCommerce
site built and hosted on Red Technology’s TradeIT platform. They
key feature of the site, said Red Technology managing director
Calvin Litchfield is the “Looks” section, which
features a continually refreshed selection of trends, showcasing
Peacocks’ more-fashionable items in order to increase basket size
and average order value.
Litchfield said that the site, which launched last month,
surpassed Peacocks’ expectations in terms of sales in the first
two weeks. Peacocks will start actively marketing the site this
month with store collateral as well as an email campaign. TradeIT
is integrated with Peacocks’ back-office partner, Zendor, which
will provide fulfilment, delivery and returns handling services.
