Pentland Brands is rolling out AI-powered technology across its global supplier network as it looks to strengthen responsible sourcing, compliance and product traceability.
The British group, whose portfolio includes Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury of New Zealand, Endura, ellesse and Mitre, is implementing Inspectorio’s Responsible Sourcing & Compliance and Traceability & Transparency technology across its brands and supplier ecosystem.
The platform will bring supplier, compliance and traceability information together in one system, helping Pentland manage ethical audits, supplier and material data and responsible sourcing requirements across its portfolio.
The technology will also support AI-driven quality and compliance decisions across Pentland’s multi-brand supply chain, with implementation already underway.
The investment comes as brands face growing regulatory requirements around responsible sourcing, sustainability and product-level traceability.
Pentland said bringing product journey data together with its responsible sourcing programmes would give the business greater visibility of supply chain performance and provide its teams and supplier partners with better evidence to demonstrate and improve responsible practices.
