Former executive chair of JD Sports, Peter Cowgill is understood to be considering acquisitions which would bring him back into retailing.
Cowgill’s name has been linked to Mainline Menswear, a business owned by JD Sports as well as with Oi Polloi which was also owned by JD Sports but closed in March 2023 by CEO Regis Schulz as part of his shedding of non-core brands.
