Sky News reports that Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones is part
of a group that has bought the brand of collapsed camera retailer Jessops. The
piece notes that the deal does not include any of the 187 Jessops stores and
that the group will run the business as an online company. Last week it was
revealed that Hilco, which recently acquired HMV’s debt, had been in
discussions with administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) about acquiring
the Jessops brand.
